The National Control Commission of Campaign Funding and Political Financing has set up a flexible and original management procedure in order to fulfil its mission which is to examine at short notice all the campaign accounts of candidates to local, regional and general elections. After three years of operation, the doctrine which comes out of its decisions is characterized by a twofold concern: to combine a pragmatic and realistic vision of politics and a rigorous and detailed review of the accounts. However its statute as an administrative authority and the very short notice given it for the review of the books tend to limit its action. Résumé
