Jacques RIGAUD - ENA: Myth and Reality
Pouvoirs n°80 - L’ENA - janvier 1997 - p.5-12
The ENA and the executives it trains are the object of many fantasies and
the link the school is supposed to have with all the power structures of the
country is part of a die-hard myth. Through a highly subjective testimony
the author tries to analyse these fantasies and this myth and claims that,
though excessive, they do reveal the failures and misfunctions of our educational
system for higher civil servants. He concludes, however, that reality
is a bit less simple and one-sided than these representations would have
us believe.
