The two European Courts are enjoying a growing popularity testified
by the regular increase of the number of appeals. Given this situation,
the organisation of the procedure plays a major role in order to satisfy
the expectations of the people who are to be tried. Confronted with
similar problems, the two courts have opted for different methods but
apply similar principles to their procedures.
