Jacques COMMAILLE - Juridical Order as Political Disorder
Pouvoirs n°94 - L’État-providence - septembre 2000 - p.75-86
In the present context of recomposition of the State, a few obervations
about the politics of law and justice illustrate some of the changes that
are occuring in public action while at the same time highlighting the
basic contradiction the latter has to face, i.e. a contradiction between the
new nature of social problems and the nostalgia for the representation
of an all-powerful state. Faced with such a contradiction, politics
proves unable to think and promote a different form of state action.
