Crime uses camouflage and unconscious imitation in order to integrate the economy. This is what makes it so difficult to identify. It knows how to adapt its primary activity to the changing economy, while paying attention to innovations and expanding sectors. It is a remarkable predator which prospers in secrecy by seizing on the bewildering array of opportunities offered by unfettered globalization. Résumé
