Israeli Arabs or Palestinians from Israeli?

Galilee, the Neguev and the Triangle have been part of the State of Israel
since 1948 and their inhabitants have become Israeli citizens. These
Palestinians, transformed into a national minority, are living a double experience,
on the one hand as Israelis and, on the other hand, as a long-isolated
component of the Palestinian people and the Arab nation.
They have gradually organized to confront the judicial apparatus set up to
maintain their exclusion and to confiscate their land. They demand a halt
to land confiscation and the repeal of the measures aiming to hinder
their political selforganization, as well as better economic and social
conditions. However, the focus of their struggle is the assertion of their
national identity.
